Get ready for a fun time! This introductory five-week improv theatre class is a chance step out of your comfort zone, make blunders, laugh a lot and play make-believe with grown-ups. Through warm-ups, improv games, and concentrating on totally unimportant details, we will focus on listening with all our senses, interacting spontaneously, making others look good and creating never-told-before and never-to-be-told-again stories in a safe and supportive environment. Participants do not need any prior experience—just come ready to dive in, focus, and have a good time. If you do have theatre experience, come join the fun!

About Jane Petring: Jane began her improv journey at Montreal Improv Theatre in 2016, studying and performing in both English and French. She continued with classes and workshops at Florida Studio Theatre, in Sarasota, Florida and the online platform Improv College. She taught College English in Montreal for decades and discovered that improv games added a whole new dimension to her teaching which she has
continued to use to enrich recent English language workshops in Tanzania and Indonesia.
