Adria Jackson is a Canadian born singer/harpist with Celtic and Scandinavian roots currently based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Originally, she was trained as a classical soprano performing in recitals in Canada and the United Kingdom. In more recent years, Adria discovered her passion for the harp and has studied with harpist Katherine Fitch Loza and Jacquie McNaulty. She now performs a wide variety of traditional cultural and classical songs accompanying herself on the harp.
Adria Jackson plays a 36 string walnut Timothy Llyr harp hand crafted in Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, Canada. She recently recorded Troubadour, a full length album of traditional Celtic, originals, Canadian folk and classical songs with the generous contribution of Strathcona County, Alberta, Canada.
