Osprey Youth Art Camp Aug. 7-11 & Aug. 14-18

Paints and brushesExplore your inner artist and let your creativity shine! The Osprey presents a brand new art camp for youth with artist instructor Melissa Strachan-Boutin. Participants will create art using a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture, and clay. There are two week-long day camps, one for ages 5 to 8 and another for ages 9 to 13. At the end of each week, campers will present their created works in a gallery exhibition in the Osprey’s Lobby Gallery. No experience necessary, all youth are welcome!

Camp 1: Ages 5-8 – August 7-11, 10:00AM-3:00PM
Camp 2: Ages 9-13 – August 14-18, 10:00AM-3:00PM

$75 per week for participants. Contact the Osprey box office to register. Camps fill up fast!
Scholarships are available, ask for details.

Artist-in-residence and ceramic instructor at Studio 138 in Shelburne. Along with ceramics Melissa specializes in printmaking and fiber. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Regina and holds a visual arts certificate from NSCAD University. She has facilitated many workshops for youth of all ages and looks forward to art camps at the Osprey this summer.
